Eating a large breakfast means that you will be far less likely to overeat during the course of the day. It doesn't even necessarily have to be breakfast, but having your first meal of the day be your largest meal will prevent unnecessary snacking and curb cravings. Make sure this meal is filled with protein. Protein takes some time to digest; thus, it'll be hours before you feel the urge to eat again. It's especially important to eat a large meal if you know you're going to be unable to eat for hours. This will keep you from binging later on in the day.
